    Default Longchamp Totes Question

I absolutely love them. I am trying to buy two for my daughter to use at college. She has a 15 inch laptop and likes longer straps. On the website it says that the large tote with long straps is 13x13x7, which is not big enough for her laptop. However, in Saks the large tote dimensions are 19"W x 12"H x 7"D and in Nordstrom the dimensions are 15"W x 12"H x 8"D. Also in Nordstrom and Saks the color selections are limited to black, brown, red, and beige, but I wanted to get her a fig and a bilberry one. Are these all the same tote or are the department store ones bigger?

Hey clover, sorry for not responding to your post earlier.

My first question is, which longchamp tote are you talking about? Is it the Le Pliage? I think it's a great bag, although my main concern is that you said you want her to use it as a laptop bag? It wont offer much protection, imho, unless she has a sleeve or something. But size, price, and duribilty wise, it's worth the price. These bags are also so great for travel - for when she comes home to visit

BTW, I the fig & bilberry.. if I were to pick 2 colors it would be those . Also they are available on the LongChamp site (link here). There measurements are 15 x 11 x 5 inch.. it's not uncommon for Saks or Nord's to be slightly off.

    Hope I helped

Thanks for the information although I still a little confused but I may order one and see if her laptop fits.
It is the Le Pliage that I was talking about. sorry for the confusion. My daughter does have a laptop sleeve and is really careful with it so I think the Le Pliage would be fine for that purpose.
Thanks for the tip about being good for travel. They will definitely come in handy when she travels home from the other side of the country.
    Thanks again!
