Want a basic, black leather handbag for Fall? I know I do! And during my quest, I stumbled upon this bag you see pictured here. Meet the Gryson Alexa Bag. To me, it looks like it would make a good cornerstone that someone could easily build their handbag collection upon. The Gryson Alexa Bag isn't too dressy-looking, nor is it too casual-looking. It is the perfect combination of slouchiness and structure. You could wear this bag just about anywhere! And to top it all off, the bag is made of really luxurious-feeling leather. But watch out! If Gryson knows how to do anything well, it's how to make a hefty handbag. This bag is going to have some weight to it! This doesn't bother me, however. In fact, I love it when the leather is nice and thick!
The Gryson Alexa Bag is available in Black (shown) and Olive. The bag is quite versatile with its two sets of straps. My only grip is that the longer set do not appear to be detachable. It measures 18" x 11" x 6" and the two sets of straps are 15" and 25" in length. There are two exterior zippered pockets and the interior is lined with suede. It's a pretty bag but I think it would be way too heavy for me to tote around daily. I do love a lush suede lining but I am sure it adds extra weight as well.

i love this bag, but agree that it is very hefty. i have the Skye and it's about half the size of the Alexa, and it already weighs a "substantial" amount for a bag of its size. Gryson doesn't skimp on quality though!
I love it! I wish it was a shoulder bag, too, though! If it is indeed heavy, you need a shoulder to carry it!....Oops, just looked closer...you can carry it on the shoulder...LOVE IT!!
