Joy Gryson is a talent in the handbag industry that has worked for Coach, Marc Jacobs and started her own line in 2006. She gained a great deal of attention and soon had her handbags distributed in Neiman Marcus, Barneys, Saks and many other major department stores and boutiques. In 2007 Joy introduced the Olivia Harris brand. Named after her daughter, the line is a younger, edgiier grittier than the sister line.

The Round Leather Tote is a great representation of the Olivia Harris line. It is a youthful, edgy bag that has a "lived-in" vibe. It will immediately become your favorite every-day bag! One of the best features and cornerstone elements of the Olivia Harris line is the soft, washed, vintage Italian lambskin that is uber-soft, comfy and has a personality all its own.

The bag has details, but not too many! The tassle logo charm is small enough so that it's not gaudy but large enough to be an important element of the design. The front slip pocket features a side zipper that allows you to open up the pocket and create a lapel of sorts to give the bag a different look. Tiny rivets at the bottom front of the bag add just a touch of edge.

You will love how this bag opens up nice and wide. Dimensions are 10.5" x 5" x 14.75" so there's tons of room inside for all of your daytime essentials. An interior back wall zip pocket and two front wall multi-pockets provide plenty of places for items that you need to find quickly. I love this one. My favorite colors are the Navy blue and the tan one...

I just read a discussion elsewhere polling between this bag and Derek Lam's Nadia Hobo . I actually prefer Lam's version. It's more structured and refined, whereas the Olivia is more youthful and hip. I guess it depends on your dressing style. I love the black version

Gosh, Olivia Harris tote looks SMOOSHY and gorgeous. I love it!! I love all the colors especially green, although I can't pull that color off with my wardrobe (too many bright colors). I'm loving the Blue and Black (Dark Gray?), though.

Nam's version is gorgeous too. I would go for the black one, as well. <3
