Paris Hilton is now in the Guinness Book of World Records. Paris makes the Guinness Book of World Records for absolutely nothing. Sort of. The dog toting socialite is now dubbed the most famous person this is famous for - absolutely nothing.

According to reports the book has declared Paris Hilton as officially the most overrated celebrity in the world. Ouch!

The annual records keeper bestowed the dubious title on Hilton by gleaning information from a series of magazine polls, a Guinness representative told TMZ.com.

BANG media reports that the hotel heiress has made it into the 2007 Guinness Book of World Records - not for her business ventures, singing or acting - but because the public believes she is famous for no apparent reason.

In short - as they believe she is famous for being famous.

A spokesman for the world famous book revealed the 25-year-old beauty, who recently released her debut single 'Stars Are Blind', topped the poll after magazine readers voted for their least favorite and most overrated celebrity.

Hilton's debut album, "Paris," is due to hit store shelves next week.
