I managed to order my skirt last night. It popped up on the website after 1am my time. I wasn't able to make it to Target until about 10am today. Most everything was gone. I walked back to the fitting rooms and they had some things hanging there. I tried some things on and left with a couple of tops. They didn't have any accessories left.

Here's the skirt I ordered. It's the one in the first picture I posted.

Then at the store I found the matching top and another top.

I tried on the actual dress that comes in the floral pattern, but I didn't like how it looked on at all.

So that's why I got the skirt and top because that is what the model was wearing in the Look Book. I'm hoping it will look as cute on me as it does on the picture. I have to wait for the skirt to come though to see.

I noticed that this line runs bigger than the Missoni. When I tried stuff on at the store, I was surprised that the smalls and mediums were fitting. The website said womens contemporary sizing, which usually means the stuff runs small. There are lots of contemporary brands where I need a large.

linvline - I tried that dress on, but I didn't like the way the top was cut. It sort of separated my boobs and made them look bigger. I agree though, it was huge. You definitely need the belt, otherwise it hangs like a sack.

Good to know about the sizing. Karen if you know your way around sewing machine then I say alter it! It's such a cute dress.

So I've had the skirt for awhile now. IDK if I should keep them. The problem is that I ordered a 12 in the skirt because they said "contemporary" sizing. But as I noted before, this stuff runs bigger than the Missoni. I tried the top and the skirt together and it just isn't right. The model has the skirt up high and the size I got is too big to sit up that high. It wants to fall down to where my pooch is. Anyway, I can't get the look without pinning the skirt to make the waist smaller. Agh! So frustrating!

It doesn't help turning on the evening news either and seeing the local anchor woman wearing her Jason Wu for Target dress. She got the black/white shirt dress. She also likes to wear her blue zigzag Missoni for Target dress and long cardigan.

Aww darn! I'm sorry to hear about the fitting. Honestly though, if it doesn't fit the way you want it to, then I would return it. Unless you know how to take it in yourself. It is such a pretty dress.
