Anya Hindmarch was Robbed!
Handbag thieves strike again, and this time fashion designer Anya Hindmarch is the latest victim. Within the last few months, the Luella Bartley and Marc Jacobs london boutiques were raided, which resulted in the loss of thousands of dollars worth of this seasons latest designer handbags, clutches, purses and totes.

Anya Hindmarch is the latest designer to be targeted by a gang of fashion thieves on mopeds who have been raiding designer stores in London. A group of burglars raided the store on Ledbury Road in the early hours of this morning and made off with a bunch of handbags. The loss is estimated to be around $40,000.

No major leads, but the police believe these robberies are connected. No designer is safe….

I assume retail. Wholesale, probably $10K, but that wouldn't sound as dramatic. LOL

another designer? i hope they catch this "group of thieves". its a little uncomforting for those of us who do most of our shopping online, expecially when the holiday seaosn kicks in
