the paul smith's charity mug
Paul Smith is doing his bit for charity after teaming up with the British brand Wedgwood to create a vibrant flower print mug (pictured). All proceeds made from the limited edition, bone china creation will go to the NSPCC; a charity close to the designer's heart. “I wholeheartedly support the NSPCC as they do such a fantastic job – I always try to help when there is a project concerning children as they are an important part of our future," Smith explains. "The Wedgwood mug is beautiful, great quality and simple in design, which enabled me to put my floral print on it. Flowers and prints have always been important for the fabrics I use for my designs and working with Wild at Heart (which is my favourite florist), made it a logical design to use." For those mug-fanatics there is a special launch event, which will be held in Notting Hill on September 10 with tickets costing £75 - call 020 7825 1325 to purchase them. Alternatively if you fancy doing your bit for charity then visit Charity begins at Home - News - Paul Smith to pick up the designer creation.
