    Default Stimulus Checks

    So if we get stimulus checks this year (it still has not been passed) what will you do with yours?

    Im eyeing a bag from the men's collection at Juicy and then I'll probably pay credit cards with whatever is left.

    I'd probably pay some of it to a cc...buy DH a car part...and then if I have $ after I put some in savings... I'd get the wapity..multicolor...

    Depends on how much we'd get though...=)

    If is approved and I honestly don't think it will I would put it towards my car. The sooner I paid off my car the sooner the better.

    If it is approved (and I hope it isn't), I will put 50% into my regular savings, 30% into my IRA, and 20% I will spend it on a bag. I don't know which bag, but depending on when/if it comes it might go towards the Rebecca Minkoff MAM I want.

    I still don't understand the whole criteria for who gets what amount. I remember last year Mr BRS and I only got a $600 check. We are starving, dirt poor college students. And then there were people on here younger than me, in college, and living on their own (eg not married) who got $1200. I couldn't see how that was fair...

    Anyways, if we did get a check, it would most likely go to bills. Unfortunately that evil insurance company has given us the slip. Medical bills haven't been paid and we may have to file a lawsuit. So yes, definitely bills.

    I have a medical bill I am having an issue with myself BRS ---- The podiatrist claims he gave me two ultrasounds for my feet and I only got one -- I don't know how to dispute this .. I tried and tried .. but I got a lovely bill again today for the second one (which I only got one on the left foot and not the right ) !!!

    Yeah, I've had weird things happen with doctors' offices too. Like when Mr BRS had his wisdom teeth out and both our dental and medical insurances were pointing the finger at the other saying they needed to pay. Right now, the problem I'm having is with an at-fault driver's insurance company. They have literally ignored any attempts that have been made to contact them.

    I believe it depends on your gross income, the one you reported on your tax. It explains it right here. If you reported gross income was only $3,000 then you would get the minimum of $300.00. In order to get the maximum of $600.00 you gross income would need to be over $75,000. This is because the more you earn the more taxes you have to pay, therefore you are entitled to more. I wish it was the same when it comes to tax return. *sigh*

    However, if they approve it, it would be different from last year. They are saying they will add an extra $13.00 to your paycheck per pay period until you get the full amount or something like that. I am not sure anymore...
