I wish it was the same when it comes to tax return. *sigh*

However, if they approve it, it would be different from last year. They are saying they will add an extra $13.00 to your paycheck per pay period until you get the full amount or something like that. I am not sure anymore...
See, I think that's stupid because people who make less money would need the money more than people who make more. KWIM? But the person I was referring to was someone who was in college too, so I don't understand why she got the maximum amount and we got the minimum.

Do they work full time? Perhaps they work part time but they made more money than you and Mr. BRS, I know is not fair but it is an stimulus for taxpayers and what you get depends on what you had already paid. They are not giving you anything, you are just getting a little part back of what you already gave them. I wish they would give us a break sometimes, we paid so much through the year. We both claim ZERO and single, and still we need to pay back to the state. I just don't get it, we don't make too much but we are just a little over that tax bracket and don't qualify for anything. I feel like all our money is going to the octomom and her plastic surgery!!!

We need it too, don't get me wrong we are doing okay but I wish they would give us a break sometimes, we paid so much through the year. I'm not sure, I thought it was part-time. :shrugs:
I've never had to pay in taxes, I always get a refund. Well, no wait, I did have to pay taxes once because I was working for a guy that ran a little stand at the mall for a very short period of time. They were supposedly taking taxes out of my pay checks, but then when tax time came the W-2 showed they hadn't taken enough out. I was young and naive and I hadn't saved my pay check stubs to prove that money had been withheld (at least on my end, I have no clue if they actually did what they were supposed to do with the money). Anyways, I ended up having to pay in over $100 and I only worked for him for a month and a half! But that was the only time. LOL!

Well Obama signed it I guess. What I can't tell is if we are getting full checks for whatever amount, or a tax credit (which I think is so much per paycheck, whether it's weekly or what have you).

Oh well. I'll just keep eyeing my bag and hope.

I'm getting a good amount back from my Federal but Im using that to take a much needed vacation.

    If ours goes through....

I need a new wallet. I'll be going straight to Louis Vuitton to get a Zippy... I am unsure which leather though... Maybe Vernis as I haven't got anything Vernis yet....

    That'll help the economy :)

Did one of you have a parent who may have claimed you on their income tax? That's the only reason I can think of.

I think the stimulus thing is going to be like $23 a paycheck, not one big check. I only got $300 extra in my federal tax refund this year.

Nope too old for that. And I'm married too, so I don't think they could anyway.

Yeah, it's going to equal out to like an extra $13 a week in your paycheck instead of one big sum. Oh well.
