Purple handbags are everywhere! Darker shades such as eggplant and plum are supposed to be hot for Fall 2008. They are available in every shape, size, and style imaginable and they have been flooding the department stores. So here we are with, yet, another purple handbag that is new for this coming season. Meet the MICHAEL Michael Kors Lattington Medium Satchel. Now don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the color purple -- you're talking to someone that had purple carpet in her bedroom when she was a kid! But his bag just doesn't seem to do it for me. The overall style is alright and the studs are adorable. If fact, the little studs bring back very fond memories of the MK Astor bags. So what is it that bothers me about this bag then? It's that contrast stitching. I'm not sure why, but for some reason they make the bag look cheap. And who wants a $400 handbag that looks like it only cost $40?

I love purple but I don't really care for this bag.

I actually love this one. Love the shape, size, buckles, studs, color, MK quality, even the price is good.

It looks related to the astor bags.. I sorta like it.. the pleating is pretty, and I like the buckles (not the jumbo "MK" signature though). Also the price is very budget-friendly.

I like everything about it except the big MK monogram, i wonder if it's detachable?

I have to say I am a huge fan of this bag :) the color is one of the best
purples I have seen so far :) The style is not bad either.

I am late to this post, but I don't mind this bag. I think it is really cute, but I am kind of sick of the purple everywhere trend!

That's one of my favorite things about the bag, the dangling, metallic, circular MK logo. But you can definitely take it off, it's just looped around the metal ring on the handle.

Beautiful bag, but not in purple for me...

Give it in other colours... - but Michael Cors to get in Germany is not so much...
