MICHAEL Michael Kors Newbury Large Drawstring Satchel
MICHAEL Michael Kors Newbury Large Drawstring Satchel

From Michael Kor's more affordable handbag line, let me introduce you to the MICHAEL Michael Kors Newbury Large Drawstring Satchel. I spotted it while browsing around on Shop Bop's website. I'm not sure what it was that initially drew me to this bag. But once I was able to take a closer look at it, I realized it was a pretty cool bag. I like the overall simple shape, complete with a hint of slouchiness. The metallic snake-embossed leather isn't too overpowering either. Pewter is actually my most favorite metallic. It's fun and funky without being too flashy or gaudy. All in all, this bag seems like it would be quite practical for everyday use. This would be especially true for this coming fall season when, once again, metallics will be all the rage. I'm a bit confused about why metallics are still being labeled as a "trend" when everyone knows they are a classic. Oh well, perhaps it helps the designers sell their stuff better.
The MICHAEL Michael Kors Newbury Large Drawstring Satchel retails for $428. It is quite roomy, measuring 15" x 10" x 4". The double strap has an 8 inch drop and the bottom is adorned with some metal feet. The interior features several multifunction pockets and a key ring. Check it out now, over at Juicy Couture, Seven Jeans, and More - FREE SHIPPING - shopbop.com!

Ditto on the metallics. I don't have a single one. Too much bling for me. But I like the bag itself.
