Need to verify that a style name is correct...
Hey everyone! I picked up this bag last night, and thought it was correctly labeled because it said it was the "Luggage" brown color, and indeed the bag was. However, I can't find it anywhere on the internet under the name it was tagged as so I'm not sure it's right. It was tagged as a Concrete Jungle Satchel. Here are some pics: MK Concrete Jungle Luggage Brown Leather Satchel 002 (608x1024).jpgMK Concrete Jungle Luggage Brown Leather Satchel 001 (665x1024).jpgMK Concrete Jungle Luggage Brown Leather Satchel 003 (542x1024).jpg Anyone know if this is the correct style name of this bag? Thanks!

Re: Need to verify that a style name is correct...
The color name is accurate "Luggage"
The body of the bag definitely looks like an MK Astor Satchel; however what is throwing me off is the ring handle, which looks like the MK Addison Satchel that i have seen only in straw
There is definitely no style by the name of "concrete jungle".
Where did you get the bag from? Are you sure of its authenticity?Always be kind to people on your way up, because you are sure to meet them on your way down

Re: Need to verify that a style name is correct...
Thanks so much for the input! I know I can always rely on your knowledgeable feedback, FedUp. :) Thing is, I have Googled and looked through the results for Concrete Jungle, and it does seem to be a real style name, but I can't seem to find a model that matches up with this one...However, there is a post here on the Bag Forum where someone posts a picture of two bags, one of which is the same as this one, and was a result of me searching the style name on both Google and inside the Bag Forum...Let me show you the link: Wanted - Michael Kors fans !!!! - PurseForum. See post #6. I tried to email Bagachondriac, but for some reason the Bag Forum is giving me trouble emailing her.
I would love to just ask her about this, as she clearly owns the exact same bag, and Google images produced that exact bag picture extracted out of ALL the pictures of bags on that page for the search term "Concrete Jungle Kors Satchel." I bought this one at TJ Maxx, and being that their bags are bought directly from the manufacturers, I doubt it's a fake. All its characteristics point to authentcity, except for that the tag was clearly tampered with (MSRP torn off), but I think that happens when they obtain the bags from the outlets sometimes. Any idea how I can direct this person to my question??? I feel like she may hold the key to the answer! I also thought it was an Astor because of the stud characteristics, which is why I posted here to ask about that -- maybe it's a different version of the Astor. However, not the Astor ring tote, as I've seen many pictures of it and it's different in a number of ways. Thoughts?

Ok! i did some research the style name of the bag is "Marina Ring Handbag". It mostly comes in canvas. I was unable to locate pic of a leather version with studs on it. try searching...good luck!

Okay, so I can't email you here or post a public message on your profile...Would you mind just shooting me a quick email that I can reply to at my normal email address? It's [email protected] (but what I want to talk to you about has nothing to do with poker, just FYI). :)

Re: Need to verify that a style name is correct...
Oh, I meant to tell you yesterday, on a totally different note...Remember that lime green rouched bag I posted as one of my initial posts, seeking a style name for it? I found it again, yet again with another incorrect tag! So frustrating! But what do you know, just a few days later, I came across it on the net with the proper name, and bought one in a lovely Wisteria purple color. Its style name is MK Erin Large Shoulder Tote and here's a picture of the new one I'm expecting: MK Erin.JPG. How gorgeous, right? Oh, and I also found out the name of that lime green color of my last one -- MK refers to it as "Apple."
