Could you ever go wrong with gold? I don’t think so. It’s such a versatile color that’ll instantly add the perfect amount of glamour to any outfit, that’s if its done right. You definitely don’t want to attempt the infamous Mr. T look… but instead… an energetic Marc by Marc Jacobs style sounds more enticing. Check out one of the brands most popular shoulder bags, the Faridah. It’s been mentioned quite a few times over at theBagForum, as I know for a fact a couple of us ladies lush over this leather beauty. I must say the Faridah sporting a hot metallic hue such as Fools Gold; makes me want this bag even more. What’s not to love about this bag? It’s a slouchy and roomy everyday hobo, with a semi-steep but definitely reasonable price tag.

Not a fan of Gold? You can find this same great bag in elderberry, cranberry, or in classic black all intended for the fall season, although we all know they’d make great year-round colors. So ladies, who else is a fan of the MbMJ Faridah? …and what’s your input towards gold handbags in general?

I am usually not a fan of golds or metallics, but this is just classy!

Yeah, this color doesn't turn me one, but that's no surprise because I don't like metallics.

The color's nice, but i'd buy it in black. As for my being a fan of metallic handbags in general? It depends on the bag, the designer, a lot of things.
