Also the interior is very dirty. How woulkd you recommed that I would clean the lining?

Did you size the photos down prior to uploading them? They should be the same size as the actual file.

As for the lining, that can be tricky. The bag is leather and you wouldn't want to ruin it. Maybe a dry cleaner would be able to do it?

^^^ This is a MBMJ bag. It looks fine, but I wonder what they mean by "defects". Says it was a customer return, so does that mean it shows some shelf wear? I would double check with the seller.

I see you are a Marc Jacobs fan. I bought this bag recently (I know its authentic), but trying to find out the year, make, model, collection its from. You have any idea? Suggestions on where I can find out?

I recently thrifted a nylon tote bag with pirate Miss Marc printed on front. I can't find the style from the Marc Jacobs official website. however, I found a photo very similar to the bag style I purchased. Color is navy blue. Here are some sample pics from another website (different color). Could you help me authenticate it?

I purchased a "pre-owned Marc by Marc Jacobs Classic Q Hillier Hobo handbag black leather bag" for my daughter. Knowing the bag did not come with a strap she contacted Marc Jacobs to purchase a replacement strap. The word she received back from MJ the following:

Unfortunately, we do not sell or offer replacement straps. If your strap is defective please provide the following :

- a picture of your bag showing the defects

- a picture of your entire bag

- your personal information (name, address, country and phone number)

- When did you purchase this item

- a style number (located on a tag inside your bag starting with the letter M)

She checked and the tag inside the bag reads "Made in Indonesia (front of tag) and 100% Cow leather (back of tag)"

Is this bag a knock-off sold as a real MJ bag, or is it indeed real? Not wanting to screw up my husbands stellar ebay feedback I need to act in the most diplomatic way to get this resolved as the seller does offer 14 day money back. The ebay auction number is 170955452180

MBMJ does have a factory in Indonesia. From the pics provided in the auction, I don't see anything that would make me think it's fake. Will MBMJ at least sell you a replacement strap?

I am not sure if they will sell her a replacement. The issue seems to be there is not a number on the label. I am assuming all MJ bags are numbered?
