They say blue is the new black. But this Marc Jacobs 2010 Rockstar Clutch is blue AND black! What a fun combination! You would definitely have the best of both worlds with this beauty! It's a little difficult to tell from the picture, but the main body of this clutch constructed of black hide (= pony hair). The leather flap at the front features a blue and gold houndstooth pattern, which I find to be quite stunning. You don't see a lot of houndstooth when it comes to handbags, but I think Marc did very well.

This gorgeous clutch would make one heck of a statement piece! I really like the gold chain accents on the strap and the cute little padlock. And if you look closely, you'll see that the fold-over flap is also embellished with multicolored diamanté. So pretty! But not too overpowering! Pair this beauty with a blazer and jeans for day. Or tuck the strap inside and carry as a hand held clutch. Then pair it with your favorite little black dress for the perfect nighttime look! Either way, you're sure to have all eyes on you with the Marc Jacobs 2010 Rockstar Clutch in tow!
