Leave it to Marc Jacobs to be down-right unpredictable at times! I love Marc, but sometimes I just get blindsided by something completely unexpected. Take the Marc by Marc Jacobs Salma Satchel bag for example. Pretty plain-looking, isn't it? My point exactly! Marc Jacobs has had some pretty wacky and crazy designs lately, some of which I couldn't stop myself from laughing at. But with this bag, Marc has done a complete 180!

So how do I feel about the Marc by Marc Jacobs Salma Satchel? It's actually starting to grow on me! I admit it is a bit plain and so out of character for Marc, especially when it comes to his MBMJ line. But I really think this would make a wonderful bag for when you want something sleek, simple, and structured. Something that you could use when you're headed to a business meeting or other event that requires some serious attire. Plus I'm really liking the asymmetrical seams and the cute little MBMJ buttons. They give this bag just the right amount of character.

I think it's kinda cool for a day bag.

I wonder if he named this one after Salma Hayek? He normally names his bags after his Model/Actress friends.
I love MBMJ leather, it is so soft and smooshy!!

Very simple looking bag. I'm not too crazy about it.

I love satchels and black leather.. but I can live without this one. It is a nice bag though!
