    It's probably correct.
I know about 1 out of every 20 I see is authentic, and that 1 authentic one is mine.:erm:

Wow!!! Yeah, I bet that is true. Now you can get a fake LV at every fair, flea markets and we have a couple of store around here that sell fake ones. That's really sad. I want to read it on Wikipedia now.

Done...I think...Until I find something that catches my eye

hmm... I hope no chinese will get offended while reading the words that i'm going to type.
Well, China population is 1,321,851,888 (July 2007 est.) (quoted from wiki), and they are good at multiplying stuff, especially the fakes one...

If you go to any selling fakes website, the seller >50% are from China...so, the fact that only 1 of 100 is real, it's not surprising at all.

I totally believe that!!!!!! People go to NY... buy a ton of fakes in Chinatown for a cheap price... have them shipped to their hometown and sell them. It's quite sad... if you ever go to Chinatown.. it's literally Fake LV and Chanel central. I absolutely hate chinatown.. good food.. yucky merchandise. But if you want amazing Chinese food besides Mr. Chows, Buddakan, and Tao... you gotta go to Chinatown. So gross...

Last time I went to Chinatown.. I had my Monogram LV speedy 25. This Chinese lady walked up to me and whispered in my ear she had LV bags. I was so pissed this dirty lady touched me especially with hands that were on fake merchandise. I go, "back away from me with your fake LV's before I get a cop and tell on you, counting to 3." She ran so fast.. it was hilarious.

But anyway.. yes I totally believe it. NY is a primse example of how many fakes are out there.

I read about LV on Wikipedia a few months back and I thought all of the facts and history were really interesting. My cousin has the same bday as Louis Vuitton.

Yeh I'm no expert on fakes, but the majority that I notice are usually rubbish fakes. Theres even a barrow thing in my local mall that sells all rip off bags. I've no idea how they get away with it when its so public. I really think that there should be something more done about it.

Wow, that's really disheartening. Well, I'm going to Thailand for vacation and it's fake bag central! Last time I went there, every other store in the market sold fake LVs. I'll carry my LVs there and every person will think I bought them from the markets. I know you shouldn't care what people think, but I don't want to be regarded as a fake bag carrier.

this is true... it's sad to think that most countries now sell fakes, I was pretty surprised to find how much fakes there is here, and how people get away from selling them, I mean, aren't fakes supposed to be blocked from the border... its just sad... there's a local auction site here that sells fakes and claims its "authentic" too... I wish all the fakes in the world would disappear!!!

I am just thinking that if that is true, of every 100 people out there carrying a LV, only one of them is real!!!!

Do you guys think that is about right? I knew there were a lot but had no idea it was that bad!

OMG - I never knew that. I always thought it was high, but wow. UGH, I hate fakes.
