Some time ago we saw pictures of a quilted Louis Vuitton handbag that was coming out for the Fall 2008 handbag season, but we didn't know much information about it. The handbag now has a name and it's called the Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Etoile Shopper. The Monogram Etoile Shopper gives a different spin on the Mongram Canvas but I must say it's quite fabulous, in my opinion of course. The Etoile Shopper is made with quilted Monogram Canvas, something I have never seen on a Louis Vuitton handbag before but I could be wrong. I absolutely love the quilted leather because it's very different than the modern day Monogram Canvas handbag you see on every women at the mall. The bag is complete with buckled bands and a twist lock closure, which make the handbag even more fabulous, well at least in my eyes.

The Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Etoile Shopper is a beautiful, great, roomy handbag but comes with an awful price. The handbag is priced at $3,500, which is pretty absurd for a Monogram Canvas handbag to me. I would expect the handbag to have some type of exotic leather for it to cost that much, but I guess that's Louis Vuitton for you.

I'm really surprised with the price. I can't believe this bag retails for $3,500, that's a bit steep.

Yea, I agree. If it were all leather...but canvas?

I think it looks amazing, though. A nice spin on an old classic.

I think its a pretty bag, but it is hideously overpriced. I know its Louis V, but come on, its not leather.. Plus the fact if you have a prob with it you may have a run in with rude staff, like my friend in Edinburgh lol!

When I first saw this bag on the LV website a couple of days ago, I thought the price was way too much! That was the first thought that came into my head.

I like the quilting. I think it's different. But I agree with everyone that the price is WAY too high.
