When I first saw the Louis Vuitton Manhattan GM, I was perplexed. I couldn't decide if I liked it, or simply just hated it. It was kind of a love hate thought, I loved it one minute then hated it the next. I never did much research on the Manhattan, so I just brushed it off as another "gaudy" handbag Louis Vuitton came out with. While I was on break from class one day chatting away on the phone with my boyfriend, this girl sat next to me. I can't even tell you what the girl looked like, but all I know was that her bag made my eyes bulge. It was a Louis Vuitton handbag I had never seen before, but I was intrigued. As soon as class ended I raced home to research her bag, and to my surprise is was the Louis Vuitton Manhattan PM. I never liked the Manhattan GM, but the PM made me drool since the minute I saw it. It's very small, but despite its size the bag is absolutely gorgeous. From the hardware, to the alcantara lining inside the bag, all the way to the shape of the bag, everything about this handbag is stunning. The only thing that shocked me about this bag is that for a small handbag it's VERY costly. Most people, like myself, would probably opt for a Speedy 25 or 30 if they wanted a small Louis Vuitton satchel. But if you have the extra cash to spare, the Manhattan PM is a gorgeous piece to add to any Louis Vuitton collection.

Fair warning the Manhattan PM maybe a sore sight to the eyes but it costs a pretty penny. The Louis Vuitton Mantattan PM is priced at $1,680, and will only continue to go up with Louis Vuitton's dreaded price increases. Sooner or later this beautiful bag will be over $2,000, so if you love it snatch it up!

me too... as much as I love Vuittons, I'd probably go for a Tivoli more than the Manhattan...

Nice, but not among my favorite LV bags. I'd rather have MJ's Blake or Venetia than his LV Manhattan.

I thought it was cute when I saw it IRL, but don't think it's me. I prefer the Tivoli PM too.

It's a pretty bag, but it's not worth the price tag. I think a Keepall is a better investment at this price.

I love the PM but I love the GM even more; just gorgeous bags all around! I'm still hoping to acquire the GM, but not saving for it at the time, and probably not for a while with all the school expenses I'll have!

I love both the Manhattan's!! I saw a picture of Jessica Simpson with the GM and it looked so classy to me. I would love to own it but i think it woyuld be hard to get in and out of woith the strap! This one would be good, though! So COOL!
