Do you have a proper camera? If you do, use the setting on the tulip/flower symbol and without flash in a lighted area.

It's hard to tell from the pics here.

Wow, it's really hard to tell still. It doesn't look really dirty on my screen. Have you heard from the seller yet?

Well in the listing the seller stated it as 100% as new, so really, if you're not happy with the condition of the purse then you should have the right to return it as it doesn't fit the seller's description? Usually if a photograph isn't able to pick up marks or stains, then sellers say that the photo's don't show up the true appearance. I think if you're not happy you should definately return it!

Juicyholicmum - I'm sorry, I can tell the difference, and I'd have been disappointed too - how annoying!

tBF's dad said that 'Simply Green' (not sure if you have it in AU?) works wonders on stains (anything from grease to ink, oil, grime etc.) - I would have suggested giving that a go, but on the other hand, if the DH has suggested getting a bag instead, then perhaps this whole saga does have a silver lining

Also, I went into LV the other day and they told me they no longer clean bags, but they did recommend a drycleaners that specialises in cleaning luxury bags, they can clean virtually anything to new and charge NZ$50 for a purse/ small bag and NZ$80 for a big bag - not cheap but it might be worth checking out whether there's someone near where you live who could do a good job on LV bags/ purses?

PS: Am expecting a pic when that bag lands on your doorstep!!
