Maybe have a look among the wipes/ sponges in your supermarket?
Was in the supermarket today. Couldn't find any resembling that product you mentioned. Juicy, any luck?

I'm always so paranoid about the vachetta on my pochettes!

But I'll have to try this! That's a great tip!

The handles on both my new Speedys have some marks on them (not darkening marks but "stuff" makrs) - I'm gonna try the eraser and see how it turns out :)

I went to the supermarket today and had proper look again. Found Chux Magic Eraser! They are all-white foam.

I used it on my mono speedy handles and got a bit freaked out initially cause the damp foam made the leather darker and seemed to smudge the dark marks. But after it dried (i didn't leave it long enough though), they look quite good! I finished off with Tana leather conditioner.

so did it work? I keep forgetting to look when we go to the supermarket! But your mono's handles are quite light still... Did it do much?

I tried using a white eraser on my WC Speedy, bc the handles were starting to get dirty, but it didn't work. I erased as hard as I could, but nothing happened

I never had good luck with the white pencil eraser, that is why I use the Mr. Clean magic eraser.

I'm going to have to try that next. I just don't want anything to darken the handles or make it looks worse.

But of course I trust your judgment, and everyone else on here, so I'll try what you guys try :)

not much difference cause the white eraser had removed quite a bit. but it's scary when you first use it cause you have to dampen the foam and so the leather darkens initially. I kinda prefer the white eraser tho.

I have to qualify that I found both the white eraser and the magic eraser dried up the leather so you'd have to use leather conditioner after. the leather conditioner would probably darken really new vachetta!! so beware!

Yes, you have to condition the leather after cleaning or will be too dry. I have found that the Apple Care cond. didn't darken my vachetta but the Coach cond. did. HTH!
