I've got a mono speedy on layaway and i just bought a damier cles from Plane Jane's on malleries and I find that the prices are really reasonable (maybe not the WC speedy that she has). Cheaper than if I bought from ebay and fashionphile and in much better condition. The cles is actually new. Plus she is really really nice and very quick with responses. Frankly I would rather buy off this site than ebay when you're not sure what the seller is going to be like.

That's crazy. I'm like the research queen so I'm all over that. But thanks for keeping us informed!

I bought my speedy there but I did get a decent deal on it. I always research if I see something there I like.

I RECENTLY BOUGHT A JADE NECKLACE ON MALLORIES FROM A SHOP CALLED FEHRMAN COLLECTION,A COUPLE WHO SELLS ANTIQUE JADE JEWELRY.
THE ITEM IS PLASTIC BEADS,IT IS SO OBVIOUS FROM THE WEIGHT AND THE LOOK,BEADS ARE MADE BY MACHINE SO THEY LOOK MACHINE MADE AND NOT HANDCARVED AND I TESTED IT WITH A STAINLESS STEEL SWISS KNIFE AND IT COMES OFF LIKE POWDER.
JADE IS HARDER THAN STAINLESS STEEL ,THIS IS PURE BS SO I CALLED THEM AND A WOMAN ANSWERED HER CELL PHONE AND GOT HER HUBBY ON THE PHONE WHO SAID HE HAS BEEN DEALING IN JADE SINCE 1970S.
THE COUPLE REFUSED TO ADMIT THIS IS PLASTIC AND WHEN I RETURNED THE ITEM,IT IS BACK ON THE SHELF AS JADE,NOT PLASTIC.
THEY SHOULD BE THROWN OUT OF MALLORIES.

Does Malleries have any sort of claims system? Did you report it to them?

I made contact with Malleries when I have problem contacting the Fehrman couple as their phone number is not listed, and the package return address is a mail drop off place.
Malleries does not have a phone number either so it takes awhile for them to email me back,in the mean time I found the cell phone number they registered with Paypal.
I filed a dispute with Paypal even though Malleries and FEHRMAN COLLECTION abide by return policy.
This is the problem with e commerce, some of the sellers work from home,no return address of their own on the package, using a cell phone and no storefront, how can you trust them with a 500 dollars necklace?
I finally got hold of the wife which gave me a return address which is an apt they live in,and I return the package, insuring the necklace for 500 when I know damn well it is plastic.
I have not told Malleries yet, should I tell them and what can they do,ask them for the geminologist certificate?
it is my word against theirs?
(I have seen a geminologist certifying B jade which is polymer jade mounted on solid 14k gold ring,do they care or they just want to make a living?)

i THINK A FEEDBACK SYSTEM WOULD BE GOOD,BECAUSE THE NEXT BUYER CAN READ.
ALthough some sites like Rubylane ,the sellers do not want feedback and the mall operator so far has not come up with a feedback system.
