Is it true that with price increase, the speedy 30 will now be $700 in the US?? Wonder how much more for the rest of the world?? I'm glad I've got mine.

This rly upsets me!! I was going to get a LV in sept when I visit the States!! I don't have a store that near by, closest is about 2-3hrs away I really don't know what to do now! I was wondering, on top of the prices you see on LV site would I pay sales tax on top of that? I really wanted to buy it from the store, but I think with the price increase and sales tax it may work out cheaper if I order it online... If you buy online do you get LV's boxed and with carrier bags? It just doesn't seem as special if I don't get all the trimmings!!!

I ordered from elux and the LV site they included dust bags and boxed it, but no carrier bags.
