I think getting the Azur is totally worth the patina - I mean, it takes so long for it to get that way anyway, so you can enjoy it being light for a while.

the only way to keep them "clean" is to prevent any oil or lotion to get on it. so basically its impossible. i use LMB's For Handles Only on my nude vachetta to protect it. however if its unprotected and used, then clean it with baby wipes first, OR if its dirty then take a mr. clean magic eraser to it or even a plain white eraser.

Baby wipes are really good at cleaning the dirt off vachetta! The non alcholic kind are best!

I like my azur kind of a medium honey. I prefer the vachetta on my bags however to be darker, like a caramel but even, only one of them has this desired color. I also had that reservation about getting an azur speedy bec. of my fear of too much patina against the azur. I know that cheap fake azur bags have very white looking pleather so I def. don't like white/pale vachetta w/ the azur bec. then the bag looks fake, but I like it to be a lighter honey. I keep it tucked away in it's dustbag when I'm not wearing it in the fall/winter so it's not exposed to as much oxidation, is that the right word, lol.

Thanks BAGGERS! I use them now and they work great! I have also used Mr Clean Magic Eraser very lightly too.

    Baggers has the BEST advice!

I also use Appleguard leather spray on my vachetta items to protect from random rain spots and help prevent dirt from sticking. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to use most of my LV items as it rains here most of the time.

If you love the Azur - GET IT. Spray some protectant on it and don't worry too much about it.
