Louis Vuitton Multicolore Kate Clutch



Louis Vuitton's multicolore monogram is perhaps the most recognizable signature print of all time. There is no mistaking those brightly colored LVs for anything. Its no wonder this print was the inspiration for Nadia Plesner's most recent Simple Living Campaign (read about it here: In the Courtroom: Louis Vuitton).

I personally like the multicolore collection. Not because it is so highly recognizable, but because it is such a fun and original design. However, I always felt kind of sad that there wasn't a clutch available in the multicolore print. Before there was only a Pochette Accessoires, a Pochette PM or GM, and a Wapity Case. But these looked more like makeup bags than clutches. Lucky for me, it looks like Louis Vuitton had been reading my mind. Introducing the Kate Clutch (pictured above)!

The Louis Vuitton Multicolore Kate Clutch resembles a large wristlet. It comes with a removable dog leash strap and its large enough to hold all of your "going out" essentials. It looks like it would be so cute paired with a simple dress! The Kate Clutch measures 9.4" x 3.7" x 1" and retails for $560. It is currently sold out at Louis Vuitton's website. I love this, I always wanted a shirley clutch, but this actually holds more than that, I wish it had the same gold strap as the Eva, yet still beautiful, I want one, haha

Oh yeah... I do remember the Shirley. It's been gone for awhile, huh? For quite some time there was only those bags I mentioned in my post... but they look more like makeup bags.

Yea its been gone for about a year, maybe more, because I saved up to get one and once I had the money they weren't on the Louis Vuitton site or eluxury. I loved that one so much, there's always some on ebay, but its faked a lot now so I'm very iffy on the ebay ones.

I would have a hard time deciding on which color to get, recently I've been REALLY into the black since most of my stuff is white, I had to break out the black bandeau today, this would be too cute with a LBD.
