Yea they're available at the museum now and they come out in stores on the 15th. Search monogramouflage on ebay and you can see some. There were pictures of the stuff in another thread here, and I think its all the same stuff.

I just want the boots, if anyone goes or finds out how much they run let me know. I do like the jasmine bag, not so much the larger version. I wish there was a speedy 30 but the 35 would be nice for travel, I just wish there weren't canvas straps on the sides.

I like the jacket...it would prob be too expensive for me though. I also like the lighter bag...not the speedy but the other one...that would be great for travel!

    I love the stole!
But the jacket & speedy together might be a bit too much...

    ^ It's overkill.
I mean, its awesome Cher can afford custom Bob Mackie's, but if we saw anyone else walking by in a Cher-Mackie-esque creation, an eye-roll would at least occur.

Frankly, [and this is just my theory], someone who walks out with something fabulous is expecting a reaction. If you walk into Holts with a Birkin, you're expecting good service and flocking SAs.
ANYONE who would go out in a monogram jacket and bag is expecting people to take notice. So, some people will be "OMIGAWD! Lucky bizznatch!" and others will find the look entirely try-hard and label-whorey. But for this person to be upset with a reaction of any kind, is incredibly stupid.

I highly doubt this chick cares I find the outfit looks incredibly tacky. She's probably happy in her little cocoon of being a lucky duck.

[ready to be flamed, so anyone one with critiques... go ahead.]

    you assume too much...
just because a person owns designer label goods, doesn't mean they EXPECT red-carpet treatment or snide remarks, or "attention". Perhaps, just maybe, they LIKE the things they've bought for what they are... trendy pieces which are sources of happiness for THEM.

Its not just about original design and such. If one didn't care about how they dressed and about other people's opinions, everyone of us would be in sweatpants, uncombed hair, unbrushed teeth - the gamut. If that person walked into Holts, I highly doubt they'd nessecarily get the royal treatment. Unless it was known they were an eccentric millionaire or something. Maybe they'd expect to, I don't know. But point being, people are into keeping up experiences. It's naiive to say combed hair can't be as much part of that as wearing a Birkin or something.

Also, I somehow doubt Monogramoflauge Blog Chick honestly cares that JessR hates her style statement. But to suggest wearers aren't expecting some sort of reaction - whether it's decent or bad, I do think, is a tad bit idealistic.

And its not as if I said "wanted" attention. But the attention - good or bad - will be expected. When Cher walks out onto a stage in a Bob Mackie creation; she's expecting attention. Whether the attention will be jeers or accolades isn't known, but I imagine she expects she'll get one of the two.

    To elaborate:

Frankly, [and this is just my theory], someone who walks out with something fabulous is expecting a reaction
ANYONE who would go out in a monogram jacket and bag is expecting people to take notice.
But for this person to be upset with a reaction of any kind, is incredibly stupid.
The Birkin, like the Mackie creations and the Monogramfl-whatever line, was an example of a much more common point.

I think it would be safe to assume that anyone going out in camoflauge is trying to avoid being noticed? Hahahaha.
