Be careful when looking at these marilyns...I saw a site that was some Chinese site and they sold them for like $200 and from the pics they looked pretty close to the real thing...

The site also mentioned that they woudl drop-ship in a discreet package so that your customers wouldn't know the true origin of your sale or something like that...it was a scary site! After reading that, I won't buy vuitton on ebay unless I check with you guys first.

the site is louis-vuitton-replicas.net - and just so you know, if your ebay win comes in a plain brown box with chinese characters on it...you've been had.

These retail for approx. $5,000.

I know that! I told you guys this because if you buy what you think is a Marilyn with exotic leathers on eBay for $5,500 and then it comes in a plain brown box with chinese letters on it...then...you just got scammed for $5,500 and there's not much to do because ebay and Paypal only protect you so much...and if the seller is overseas, that's even worse!

I'd only buy this kind from a reputable seller like fashionphile or someone like that.

The purse isn't as small as it looks. I have the Marilyn, but the original one with the Vaschetta. It's by no means a large bag, but I can put my checkbook, mini skinny, cell phone, and iPod touch (which I carry in it's box...) in it.
