Default What to do about my LV hardware...

So I have 3 LV bags - two of them are about 4-5 years old and the newest addition was purchased at the end of January (my Damier Speedy 30). ALL of them were purchased at the LV store (I can't bring myself to trust online sellers no matter HOW good they are - plus I like the SAs at the LV stores).

Well the hardware (ie: zipper pull, rivets, magnetic snaps) are ALL showing MAJOR wear. Even the Speedy's zipper pull is showing wear. It's like the golden plating is chipping off. While maybe I can understand the older bags having this problem - I'm pretty bummed that after only a month or so of light use - my speedy is showing the wear too!!

Is there anyway to clean/protect/correct this? I don't live near an LV store but I will be back home in NYC at the beginning of April where I can stop by the one at my mom's house. I just don't think I should have to PAY for a replacement zipper if I bought it only a month ago though...I still have my receipts. What should I do?

I would call the SA that sold you the bag in Vegas(?) and let her/him know what is going on. You have not had that bag long enough to show major signs of wear. I am sure they will exchage it for you.
