Default Re: Is the Speedy shaper worth it?

Check out Ace of Base Shapers on Etsy.com. Cheaper than others and ships from the US. I was going to buy one from somewhere else but $30 is expensive!! Has before and after pics so you can decide if it is worth it. These are flexible so less potential wear on your purse. (Surprised no one has mentioned the wear caused by the hard plastic. Seen people talk about it on another forum.) I used to have cardboard in my purse but it felt wrong to put something so cheap inside. Hope this helps!

I got my speedy 30 bag shaper and organizer from CloverSac as well. Similarly it is not too stiff that may cause wear inside your bag

I got my base shaper from CloverSac as well for my Speedy 30, it is light-weight with rounded corners that does not damage the interior of my handbag

Yes if you don't like the slouch or sag of the Speedy ( some people do, I do not) the base shapers help a lot. Plus if you get one that matches your canvas color, the inside appearance of your bag is nicer. I have base shapers for all my Speedys

I have the smallest of the Speedys; the 25? Forgot if it was 25... and was relieved that despite that I don't use a shaper, it really doesn't slouch much for me.

I really think you should. I had a speedy that got horrible wrinkles after a few years. I used it all the time! You don't have to buy the shaper but at least make sure you keep something inside (towels..)
