Ok, so after my paycheck this Friday, I'll be ready to make my next purchase. I reeeeealy want a Balanciaga, but I've just been DYING for something from the Azur line. Ha, and I know I'll kick myself if i don't get a piece for this S/S! So I'm gettin' my Azur craving out of the way, LOL!
Anyways, I read in a past thread that some of the members here didn't like the rolled leather straps on the Saleya due to the fact that they fall off the shoulder quite easily. I love that bag and I was considering the MM or GM before I read about the straps. But I'm thinking more of a shoulder bag this time around. I do love the Azur Speedy 30 though. So I'm stuck between the Noe and Speedy. I'm a little hesitant on the Noe because this summer I will be doing a lot of boating and I'm unsure of how securely the bag will stay closed when it's stored in the cabin down below and up against the waves .
Does anyone own a Noe? Does it stay closed securely? And what do you ladies think of the styles compared? I'm also a little worried about all that light leather on the bottom. I really can't make up my mind. Please let me know what you think and help me decide on my next bag!!! Thanks in advance!

Ok... SO are you debating between an Azur Noe... Azur Speedy 30... and a Balenciaga??? Or just LV??!
My opinion on the LV choices would be... if you want a shoulder bag, of course, get the noe... if you don't mind an arm bag... go for the speedy! I personally would choose the Speedy.... I love the Speedy shape more than the Noe... oh and I'm a Speedy fan too!!! She's sooo pretty... you wont regret it!!!

Well, my mind changes like everyday, lol! I was thinking earlier today how much i do want that lovely Magenta Balenciaga!!! So Viva, if it were between those three, what would you say?!?!?
My first choice would have to be the Magenta Balenciaga! That is one HOT bag!
Second would be the Azur Speedy 30. IMO the Speedy 30's are a timeless bag that you can carry for years to come.
I am not a fan of the Noe, so can not give a fair decesion on that one.
So to sum it up...If you want a classic bag to carry for many years then that would be the Azur Speedy 30. If you want a smokin' HOT bag go for the Magenta BBag.

First off the azur line is beautiful. i really love the saleya. I was thinking about getting one but I'm not big on zippered bags. That's why I'm holding off until the azur neverfull comes out. But that wouldn't work with boating being wide open. The noe is really cute and you don't see it often, especially the damier. That would be my pick, I don't own one, but I don't think much would fall out if you tightened it up. I think that would be an adorable summer bag. I'm debating on which LV this summer and that's one of the many on my wishlist!
I have a Speedy 30 and i was thiking of getting the 25 in Azur. IDK, there's just something cute about it. But I don't know if it's too small. But I like the Noe. IMO, I think the Saleya is too much $$$ for what you get. Like I'd rather save $ and get a Speedy or put that extra $ towards a Noe.
Do you girls think the Noe in Azur could be worn years from now, like the Speedy???

^^Oh the Noe is a classic as well... it's been in the LV family for a while... the classic champagne holder!! But personally, I love love love the Speedy.... and in my opinion, I think the Speedy is classier! I just love it and would choose it over the Noe.

Why are the prices on elux still the same? Are they not going to increase them? Not that I am complaining or anything, LOL!
Ha, I just saw an ad as I was browsing online, of the Azur Noe, and there were some champagne/wine bottles in it. So the Noe isn't realy appealing to me right now, lol.....
Anyways, idk, for some reason I think the Azur print would be really cute on the Speedy 25. And I don't even use up all of the room in my speedy 30. Geez, now that I think of it I really don't carry a whole lot, even if I'm wearing a larger purse. So maybe I'll just get the 25 and if I don't like it I'll return it for the 30. But if elux doesn't have the 30 then I'll end up spending more on the Vuitton website...
So I guess I'm just going to get a speedy. And I can put the extra $ I'd end up spending on the Noe towards a...................magenta Balenciaga city!!!!!

FYI, the Noe was originally created by Vuitton to hold 5 champagne bottles. That's why it was so roomy and simple in design. I have the Azur Noe and it's large, but I LVoe it.
I personally like the idea that it had an intended purpose before it became fashionable.

Yeah I know that's what it was originally created for. And when I saw the add I was thinking to myself that maybe it's still used for holding them (???).
