Re: monogram speedy - should I?
I always wanted a LV speedy but for some reason I hate to carry bags in my arm. It has to fit my shoulder. I sold a papillon 26 because of that, made me so tired all the time. But speddy looks just so cute and I still think I might get one eventually. Go for it, you can return it later if you change your mind.

Re: monogram speedy - should I?
I just purchased the Damier Speedy 30. It's the PERFECT size (I'm 5'3, 110lbs... kinda small). I love oversized bags and I stuff EVERYTHING into them.
Originally I wanted the Monogram because of those Audrey Hepburn photos - she's my idol really. But then realized that I don't like the monogram unless it's a vintage trunk so I went with the Damier because it's not so showy (I'm not into branding).
Buy one NEW... I was scoping out eBay for a WHILE and it just isn't worth the risk. Plus you get so much better treatment at the LV store and and if you EVER need to sell it or re-authorize it, you have the documents to do so.

o and as for arm bags... i love it. it's cute and classy!! i have a Coach bag that is similar to the Speedy and it's great. Plus I was able to tote the Speedy ALONG with 2 very large luggage bags AND a laptop bag throughout the Vegas and JFK airports... that's gotta say something! :)
