Omg girls... I was in LV today having a chit chat with my SA... the new Vernis color is GORGEOUS!!! It comes in the Saleya! Small and Big Saleya! SOOOO Pretty... I LOVE IT! If I wasn't so set on getting the MC Speedy.. I would buy it! SOOO GORGEOUS!
Marissa, completely off topic, but I noticed you have the Berkeley on your wish list. I'm glad someone else is thinking about it! I posted something about the bag months ago, but didn't get any feedback.
The only thing holding me back is the price tag... I just want to think it's worth it. I mean it's a beautiful bag... afterall, it's a glorified speedy! I would think around $1200 (or double the speedy because obviously it is constructed bag). What do you think?
I LOVE THE BERKELEY! Ya... a $1400 price tag sucks... but I love it. First my MC Speedy then I'm gonna get it in Azur. It's so pretty... It's like a short speedy 30. I like it.. but I agree the price tag sucks. I bet it's a lot because u gotta pay extra for that gold plate in the front! ha!

I know it's a great bag, the Berkeley that is... I just don't get the price tag. On the flip side I don't see a problem with the MC Speedy being 2 g's. I totally believe its worth it. My thought process here is I'd rather get the azur speedy and neverfull for less than the Berkeley. I'd only carry the bags in the Spring/Summer anyway.

Also, there is a huge price difference between the Neverfull and Berkeley, which is roughly around $800 (the price of another bag!). So perhaps your SA wants you to purchase the Berkeley instead of the Neverfull because it would earn him more commission (???) Although I'm not exactly sure if LV SAs do get commission . It was just a thought. Anyways, I'm sure you'll enjoy the Berkeley!

No he is not like that. I've had him for about 5 years since I got my first LV piece. I even wanted a key chain before and he grabbed it and was like YOU ARE NOT BUYING THAT! $250 you buy yourself a wallet not a key chain. So no he isn't like that. He thinks the Neverfull is too filmsy.. I even tried it on.. and I agree. It's not for me. He just knows my taste and he knows if I bought it I would be really unhappy.

If you like the Neverfull get it! Don't listen to me! I mean honestly it is a really reasonable price for a LV bag! It's cheaper than a Speedy! I personally don't like it... it's too filmsy for me. It's not stiff.. but you may love it! It's constantly sold out.. so it's obvious a lot of people like it. And I'm sure the Azur Neverfull will be beautiful. The Azur collection is just gorgeous PERIODI heard they were pusehd back till May again? True? I was actually going to get on the list for that Neverfull but once I had it in my hand I was like oh no.. I can't use this. If you want one.. I suggest get on the list! Oh I'm sorry! I didn't know that you had such a tight bond with your SA. In that case, good for you!!! That's great that you have an SA who cares about your personal wants/needs and taste!!! So Marissa, are you definitely set on getting the Berkeley in Azur?!?!?! Oh I can't wait to see pics! That is a great bag...
Actually the Neverfull MM is the same price as the Speedy 30. As far as being flimsy...so is the Speedy. Neither one of them is a structured bag, like the Berkely. I was told by an SA that was the purpose of the bag...that is what it was designed to be. A super light bag to carry all of your needs, such as laptops or for use as a gym bag or even a beach bag.
The best thing about the neverfull is that you can fold it up into luggage and it is not heavy at all. *Plus you can carry it 2 ways. I love mine and I prefer it over my Speedy. I have even changed my mind on wanting the Damier Speedy, now I want the Damier Neverfull.
