So today I went over to a friends house and saw this beeeeeeautiful Theda! BUT! I've never seen the design of it in my life. I'll try to take a picture next time or something. Anyways, I wanted to know if it was authentic! I was too scared to ask, because I didn't want to offend her in any way.

It was white with little Gold LV monogram pattern, a gold buckle, and gold rivets. The straps were white as well.

It seemed weird to me, because I've only seen the multicoloure, original monogram canvas, and the special edition ones that come in one color. Anyways, itd probably help more if I had pictures!!!!! But I really wonder if anyone else has seen this one as well, cause maybe its just me

I've heard of tan suede with a metallic gold LV print. And I've heard of pastel colors with a monogram pattern made of crystals... it has a chain though for the handle.

I think we would need to see a picture.... those mean people out there (those who make/design fakes) can get all crazy and creative!!!

Okay so I actually had another day out with my friend and stopped by her apartment. I HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD to ask!

, of course it was the most awkward thing ever, but I had asked her if it was real or not -- and surprisingly, she told me she didnt know!!! It was a gift from a few years ago. So I told her I'm going to take pictures so you girls can help me authenticate!! I'm not big big big on LV so I really don't know! Thanks girls.

It's a fake! The leather looks soo flimsy... and although LV did produce Limited Edition Theda's... none of them looked or resembled this one. Srry.

oh yeah. that's a fake indeed... look at the stitching (frayed in spots) also the interior is totally off

I talked with LV corporate last week and described this bag to them. I have it in pink and they said that it was authentic.

Here is a link to the runway show featuring the Theda bags. I am going to have to agree with the other ladies here that this bag is not authentic for two reasons. The fabric is wrong. It looks like some sort of canvas and secondly the pattern on the fabric is too small. The pattern on the Theda is larger. One more thing, there should be little bumps or pock marks on the leather that aren't present on this bag. So sorry but I have to agree with the group.
