Ooook TBF-ers!!!

I need your help/opinions/suggestions on what bag would be a perfect School/Book Bag... I am in the process of purchasing a bag soon (for school... and for shopping purposes every once in a while). SHe must be roomy, able to hold up a good amount of weight and a Shoulder Bag of course... .

Ahh... I'm excited... But I need some suggestions first!!! ... I sooo wanted to purchase a Dark Brown Balenciaga... but I don't think it will be a great BookBag... So i'm sticking with LV!!!

A laptop fits in my Neverfull MM. The bag is super light to carry and holds a ton of stuff. At first I was worried about the thin straps hurting my shoulders but they are fine. Also I think it would make a great Beach bag too. I am waiting for it to be released in the Damier Ebony...hopefully in May!
Good Luck on your quest...the MbMJ Turnlock Faridah and Teri are also large and soft bags!

I recommend Saleya, Neverfull, or Damier Canvas Sac. I think Neverfull would be really easy to carry around and more comfortable and of course..the price is right :)

What about the Abbesses Messenger Bag or the Cabas Mezzo? You know who has both on their website.

If you can get your hands on a Cabas Alto, I'd highly suggest that. Otherwise I'd say try the Palermo GM. The Palermo has a zipper top, 2 short handles and a removable long strap that you can wear on your shoulder or messenger style. Plus, it is very roomy.

I do want a bag with a zipper closure (not open from the top)....

Do you all think Vachetta leather at the bottom of a bag makes the bag more sturdy??!

I don't see much of a difference in my cabas alto (vachetta bottom) and my palermo. Both are sturdy bags. I do, however, notice a difference with the straps on my cabas alto when the bag is loaded down. I just feel the bag weighing down.

The Palermo is so versatile... and has a zipper! I also appreciate the multiple carrying options and pockets on both sides on the inside of the bag. (I posted pictures earlier in the thread labeled "Palermo")

I personally like the Palermo better....but whichever bag you choose will be fabulous!!

Obviously I'm biased here... but I think you'll be happier with the Palermo because of the reasons you need the bag. The carrying options will save you when you are on the run, when your hands are full, etc. I plan on using mine for work. I haven't taken it out because it's been rainy, snowy and gross, but tomorrow the Palermo may make its debut! Let me know if you have any further questions!
