i'm thinking of getting the LV french purse in either the vernis or damier canvas. I love the vernis but i want this wallet to last a long time and am worried that it will get really dirty and worn very quickly. i know the damier will probably last longer.
any advice?

Hm, I've heard that the Vernes isn't an every day type of bag, but really it's how you'd treat it. I like my wallet to be really durable since I don't change wallets often. I'd go with the damier canvas. Good luck!

I would go for the Damier Canvas... The Vernis attracts fingerprints... especially the dark colors... I also agree that the Damier Canvas looks more durable as well... Good luck in your decision making...

I love the VERNIS collection... BUT.... I was considering buying some raspberry pieces when they came out earlier this year. I asked my SA about the vernis collection... and he goes... "It's patent leather and it scratches very easily." All I wear are speedy's.. so it would of got maked up quick
