handles wrapped in plastic w/ purchases from elux???
I was checking out fashionphile's auctions on ebay and for the graffiti keepall 50, the bag pictured has handles wrapped in plastic.. I emailed her about it and she said it was purchased from elux and sometimes they do wrap the handles in plastic... Is this true??? I haven't bought any lv from there so I don't know for sure.

Yes, it is true. My pochette had the strap wrapped in plastic when I got it from elux. I think that is how they are shipped so the leather stays nice and pretty. Then they will take it off when they get them in at the boutique, so customers usually don't see it like that.

Yeah, wrapped in plastic does not always automatically equal a fake. But it certainly isn't a common thing to see. The bag would have had to come from somewhere other than an LV boutique or other store because the employees there take the plastic off before putting them out on the selling floor. Customers there would never see it. Since elux is a website, its more like purchasing from a warehouse. The packaging is left on since they are going to have to be shipped to the customer and the plastic protects it.
