Default help with cleaning my bag =(

i tried googling for tips on how to keep handles clean, but only found tips on how to keep the main outer leather clean. i totally understand that of course the handles will change colors, have stains etc. im just a bit sad because i got my damier azur speedy 30 on sat nite, only to come home and find it had marks on it! so this morning i rushed back to exchange it. i inspected it in the store but i didnt notice the leather flap on the side has a tiny discoloration on it. its totally small and hard to tell unless you look for it, but its the fact that i know its there that bugs =( like i said, i totally understand leather changes color and stuff..but im sure all you girls feel like i feel when you pay for something and you want it to be in tip top condition!! i dont want to make another hour and a half drive down there again so if anyone can help me out....itd make me soooo happy!!!

I am sorry to say that it is almost impossible to keep the leather clean especially if you carry it a lot. All of my monogram LV have patina and I am totally a "patina hater". That is why my next LV WILL be ebony Damier. It will always look nice!

The first marks are always the worst! Eventually all of the leather changes from the oil in your skin so it blends in, but that takes awhile! Spots are inevitable, but I prefer to be responsible for them... meaning... I wouldn't want to bring a bag home from the store I wasn't happy with. I never even purchase LV's on display. If you aren't happy, call your SA and explain. Make sure they will accept a return before you make that trek. You deserve to get what you pay for.

I don't think you can really clean the leather once it has spots or stains on it. I do know that Lovin My Bags carries a protective lotion called "For Handles Only". It won't darken the leather and it repels stains. Sorry that that happened... I know it sucks. I think something like that has happened to everyone... maybe not with a handbag, but a piece of clothing they bought. You never know who's grubby hands were on something before you buy it, so you have to be careful. I would do what the other girls said to do, call up the boutique and tell them what happened. They are usually pretty good at satisfying their customers.
