LV Price Increase!

Hi everyone - i'm new here to the forums! I don't know if anyone knows or if there is already a post about this (i searched for it, but didn't find anything)... but i talked to a SA today and she told me that there would be a price increase either this Monday or next Monday!

Thought i'd let you all know incase anyone was planning on buying anything soon.

I knew there would be an increase this month, but usually it's pretty hush-hush.

Confirmed price increase date: Nov. 19th

At least, that's what I was told. They also said most everything will be increased.

really 11/19? For the past couple of year the price increase has always been mid summer. The price increase happened a few months back, never have I ever seen 2 increases in a year. strange!

really? i've just recently got interested in LV stuff, but from what I've heard from others, LV usually increasing their prices twice a year and they might be increasing that to three times.

the good news is that they have recently lowered the prices on some of their bags. i don't remember which ones, but a few of them dropped in price about 50-60$.

The Mono BH and Mono BV dropped in price last year.

Not sure what is lower this time around...

just found out: the price increase might be for singapore. i'm hearing different things from a lot of different people...one SA says yes to the price increase, another says "no idea", the other one says "possibly". so WHO KNOWS. Sorry if i caused any panic!

I've heard there would be one before Christmas - maybe Dec. 1st? I thought they usually happened either at the beginning or the middle of the month...ick!

i was at the LV store in NYC and spoke to one of the salesmen. he did says they DO have price increases but he did not hear of this one. so the price did not increase YET.
