Hi everyone,
I am really tempted to make a bid on Ebay for a LV Manhattan bag. However, after hearing so many chickies getting fooled online, I am petrified. Can anyone help me verfiy if this bag is indeed real or not? The item number is 230180510118 Also, this seller has indicated that the date code is SO0036. Is it real? Please help Many thanks!!! |

Hi guys,
Many thanks for your help! Some things are just too good to be true!!! I am glad I ask someone first. About 6 months ago, i purchased a Fendi Spy from Ebay and paid $800 through for it through PayPay. On arrival I knew it was a dud. It took me about 5 months of complaining and more out of pocket (had to pay to get a formal letter from Mypoupette). At the end, I only got 1/3 of the payment back. I was traumatised!! I suppose Ebay is a perfect ground to fool the naive! p.s. i am new to this forum - is there a link that I can go to get get things authenticated? cheers, lynda |

There are a few things you need to watch out for. Review feedbacks and what other items the seller has sold. There are several who are LV re-sellers, ALVA, etc... Also, do not hesitate to ask seller for additional pictures, especially of the heatstamp and date code. Stay away from those which have hanging plastic tags as well as the brown 'louis vuitton' envelope! Can't think of anything else right now off of the top of my head, hope this helps a little...
