Wink My first LV bag-speedy-some question-pls help

    Hi everyone
I am about to buy my 1st LV bag and I am beside myself with excitement, I live and breath LV lol, I just LOVE LV.
Anyway, I am thinking of getting the monogram speedy 25 or 30.
My questions are, is the bag able to handle everything I put in it i.e: wallet, phone, keys, diary, makeup bag, pen, ipod, sunglasses....the reason I ask is that I am worried the stiching may not hold as it doesn't look that sturdy, sorry if that doesn't make sense, I am not explaining myself well here....um, I am hoping the stiching plus thew one stud will stay intact with all that I put in my bag?
Also would you consider the speedy to be the LV classic bag? A bag that will go with anything, casual, dressy, day/night?
The other bag I also want to get is the multicolore pouchette.
    What do you all think?
    Thanks for listening!

I have a couple of speedies and on occasion stuffed it the max without a problem. The speedy is really well made! I like the 25 best as I am 5'1 but I know most prefer the 30. The speedy for sure is the most classic LV ever produced. My SA told me it has sold more than any other bag ever in their collection. Regarding your question casual, dressy, day/night, for sure this bag can be used for an event and look great. Hope this helps.

The only thing I don't like is the speedy starts to sag after awhile. I see this one woman that shops at the mall all the time. She has an OLD speedy and its so mishapen from sagging that its hard to tell its even a speedy any more. LOL! But she did buy a strap to carry it on her shoulder with... so perhaps that put more stress on the sides of the bag.

    Thanks for your replies.
I have heard of buying a speedy base shaper to help with the sagging problems.Might look into that.

I have a base shaper. Purchased off of ebay for $19, totally worth it.

I have to be sure I keep this in mind (getting a base shaper) when I purchase my bag. I can remember a few ladies suggesting magazines or small pieces of cardboard to keep the bag from sagging... thanks for the 411.
