I live in Paris and Im 99.9% French, I work for Louis Vuitton in Paris as a Regional Merchandising Manager and have been with the company for over 5 years now. Although it is a very stressful job, I do enjoy it and there are lots of perks. I Travel alot to Spain and other parts of Europe.

Hello, I get a very good discount and can buy the prototypes and seasonal items for very very low prices. My Job is very hard work, there is alot to do in my office but I do enjoy the perks and meeting very high contacts within the company. This job also takes me around the world and I adore traveling.
wow!! i'd love to have your job... i always enjoy traveling; so any job that would allow me to do that would definitely work. so do you have a lv collection of your own? and do you mostly buy lv bags since you work there b/c of course who doesn't love them.
i am actually thinking about getting a lv speedy when i get back... it's either that or a coach bag... my question to you is: which speedy would you recommend? i like the damier, damier azur, and the mini lin. my main concern is which would be easier to maintain?

hello msmatthews0420, I like lots of different bags. I own alot of Louis Vuitton and Hermès. I have a large collection of Louis Vuitton Prototypes, limited editions and Hermès Birkins and Kelly's.
I would get the Louis Vuitton ebony Damier Speedy 30, this bag is very durable and practicle, I also own one. But If you would like something a little different, I would get the Damier Azur, this is the canvas everyone wants. One of our biggest sellers believe it or not. The waitlists are still very long for the damier Azur Speedy but it is a fantastic bag.
hello, yes If you are buying the Damier Azur speedy then it is good to get on the waitlist now. It may take a couple of months to get one, but not as long as the wait for Hermès Birkin .
I will be at work tomorrow we are looking at how we can make our bags more environmentally friendly and next friday I will see some pictures of new bag design idea.

How neat to have someone who works for LV here. I've always thought that being an LV sales clerk might be a fun retirement job, lol. What does it take to work there, do you just apply like any other place?
