Murakami Limited Edition Louis Vuitton Creations at MOCA
Takashi Murakami, the famous Japanese artist which has done both fine art creations as well as digital and commercial media which includes work for Louis Vuitton (previously covered here) and even the designs for the upcoming album release by Kanye West.


He is at it again with a limited time "pop-up" Louis Vuitton store in the middle of the MOCA (Los Angeles Museum of Contemporary Art) (from Oct 10, 2007 - Feb 11, 2008), which features limited edition handbags and other small leather goods that feature Murakami's unique designs and characters.


The bags will range from $875 to $920 in price, which is only about a $300 markup from the base Louis Vuitton bag prices.

how cool is that. i haven't heard about this yet. Anyone plan on going? I'm hoping that i can make it down, possibly in january if I can get the time off.

yeah there arent that many pictures out there.. those pics are sort of the teaser to get you to come . I really really really really wish i can make it. Although I'm not sure anymore if i will buy anything. The $300 markup is kind of a turn off.

its going to be about a 300 mark up. so the multicolore agenda should be around $900ish
