BEST-CASE SCENARIO
Marc Jacobs first launched the Japanese artist Takashi Murakami's line of multicolored monogram accessories in his spring/summer 2003 collection for Louis Vuitton. This spring, he introduces the new Monogram Multicolore trunk, housing 33 Marilyn bags in matching hues and meant to be a collector's item. Only five trunks have been crafted; they will be showcased in major flagship stores, including Tokyo, Paris, and New York.
