^^^ The date code would be stamped inside the pouch that comes with and on the strip of leather that runs down in the side of the interior of the bag (near the bottom). However, I see several things that would indicate this is a fake. Most particularly, the shape of the tag with the heat stamp on it. It should be much larger and square. And I do believe this style was made in Spain. Well... at least I have never seen one that was made in France. Other things wrong with it include the alignment being off (this looks like the PM size), the tab that the zipper on the pouch extends out into should be trimmed with leather all the way around, and the lining in the bottom of the bag looks weird.

Here's what I mean about the tab where the zipper on the pouch extends out. It should look like this:
Whereas in yours, the leather does not completely surround the zipper.
And here is what the tag with the heat stamp should look like:

That is just an older dustbag (authentic)...I got that one with my Cabas Piano. That might not be the original dustbag for it.
As far as the denim line I am no help on those. Sorry!

It looks good to me - I have that dustbag for my Vernis Thompson Street that is from 2003. She may not have the original one anymore and may have gotten another one somewhere else.
