It's actually quite a new bag - date code says 28th week of 2007 (bags after Jan 2007 has date codes with weeks instead of months).
I can't access the Marketplace yet as I haven't been a member for 60 days. Actually one more week, I think. Plus seller is letting me get it on a really flexible layaway plan. I thought since I'm getting the Damier speedy first and probably another shoulder bag, I can take my time with the mono speedy.

The datecode is perforate, not print.
The datecode is really small in the corner of the bag, near seam.

yea it is authentic, but keep in mind that doesn't mean it has a date code that it is authentic, fakers put on a date code now as well, so the date code has to match the ctual year of prod. :)
