I'd be very careful about what LV bags you buy that aren't from LV or eluxury.com. The fakes keep getting better and better.

Yeah, I do agree... they do get better and better all the time. Sometimes even LV employees have to rip the whole thing apart just to figure out if its real or not.

For some reason this looks off to me. All the date codes I've seen have been SD, not VI. But I could be wrong.

^^^ I've seen them with VI in the date code. It's one of the codes for France. What else seems odd about it? From what I can see in the pics, everything looks well aligned and the pattern is in the correct place for an MM. The number of stitches on the piece that connects the handle to the bag is correct too.

I think maybe it was the way the camera took the first picture, made the LVs look darker than they should be. I knew that the date code SD was France and USA, and VI was just France, which is why I was thinking I could be wrong.

^^^ The first pic does look weird, I agree. The wrinkling and the hues make things look weird... but I think its just the camera (and the wrinkled up bag).

Plus, the starting bid is only 12.5 pounds, which isn't that much, and they would have listed the starting bid for at least 100. Also, only 2 photos means they don't want to show you the inside of the bag (or lack of serial number).
