Sad Help! New Louis Vuitton Neverfull MM..Defect?

    Hi all!

I'm new here and just want to start off by saying I just received my first Louis Vuitton bag on Thursday!
I got the Neverfull MM in Damier Ebene and I love love love itt!

I used it yesterday to run to the store very quickly and shopping today. As I hung my bag up in the restroom and I looked at the bottom of the bag and noticed something wrong. There is a mark on the bottom of my bag and I am unsure what this is.
(Or maybe not, I'm not very familiar with LV bags)

I know this is minor but when you save up for a long time and spend a lot of money on a purse I would want it to be PERFECT!
Just wondering if you all could take a look and let me know what you think.
I would send it back but I have used it for 2 days(although I know this is certainly NOT from using it today) and I'm not sure how the return would go since the bag has been used.

This is a picture of my new bag, LOVE IT! and the second picture is what I have a question about. There is a small mark towards the bottom of the picture.

Thank you so much! I really appreciate the help!! :)

I would call the store where you purchased your Neverfull ASAP!! Could it be possible that you bumped the bag against something to cause it? If it is in fact a defect Louis Vuitton should replace it! Call first thing tomorrow!

Welcome to the forum, I am sorry about your new Neverfull!

Thank you so much for your reply!
I don't think that I bumped it. I have been babying it beyond belief. The most I've had it out was probably 2 hours. It almost looks as if the color is made that way. It doesn't even look as if it was caused by damage.
I ordered it from lv online. I am devastated! I will call the customer service number tomorrow! Thanks again :)

Oh my gosh, that's horrible. I hope that you called LV and they were able to exchange it for you.

Believe it or not but Louis Vuitton do have some defective bags out there I have bought 6 bags so far in the last 9 months (I got addicted right away) My 2nd purchase ever was my Totally GM and the factory left a large pea shape rivet or piece of metal in the bottom of my bag that sat between the bottom canvas and the bottom lining of the bag and it would roll around. I called my SA right away and they could'nt believe it but they sure did when they saw it. I took care of this right away it was noticed on the second day that I owned it. I exchanged it for another, unfortunatley we never found out what it was. I was hoping that someones diamond fallen out of their ring on the production line because that's what it felt like round on top and a point on the bottom. I hope you ccan still take your bag back. Let us know......ok?

A defect is totally possible. I went to purchase an Azur speedy 35 a couple months ago. Before I attempted to buy it, I inspected the bag at the sales counter. I'm glad I did because there was a scratch at the bottom part of the canvas. It was a thin line the length of a fingernail, but I noticed it. The sales person took it up right away and said it was going back as a defected bag. Then there was the other speedy Azur I finally got, one handle was set wider apart than the other, it bothered me so. Sigh. Like others have stated, call them asap. Good luck.
