Just curious... would you all rather shop in the actual Louis Vuitton store or shop on Eluxury for something Louis Vuitton? I'm going to buy a Priscilla soon... and that bag is $1,450 as of right now. If I go buy it in the store.. I'm gonna end up paying $94 tax... as you all know... no tax on eluxury. But I love my SA to death... and I'm hoping he makes me a VIP soon... I go to him for everything! Like everytime I go in there... he's always like My Little SINGER! Then tells everyone never give me any shit because I'm gonna be famous one day... etc. etc.... I love him! So is it worth it just to pay the tax because you have a tight bond with your SA? Like I bought a LV Speedy in the NY store on 5th ave... after I bought it... I felt guilty... I didn't go to him. So if it was you... what would you do?
Well... eluxury does do deals on shipping sometimes (e.g. FREE). So if that special was going on at the moment, I would probably say to hell with the SA! Hahaha! No, really... I would rather save on the tax. I don't know what it is where you are... but its 7.5% here. Then again... there's no LV store anywhere near me so I'd probably buy online anyway.

No LV store near me either.... but... I think if your buying something multicolor... you should see the bag in person over buying it on Eluxury... YOu have to see the colors and everything, Eluxury won't give you that option or ask you what colors you prefer... I say if you can spend the 90some dollars on taxes, then go for it.... and if not.... go to Eluxury.... But I will tell you that waiting for a bag is the most horrible torture....EVER!!!!
Since you have a relationship with your SA I would so get it there.. especially if you want him to make you vip some day . His feelings might get hurt if you stroll in there with a new bag that you got somewhere else.

i'd get it from the store if it wasn't for the tax thing coz i'd love to look at it real close and stuff.. i'm a very picky person...so if u can spare the tax money go to the store plus u get to be a VIP!!!!

There are some people that buy 2 bags and become VIP's! I haven't bought off of him twice... I think that's why I'm not a VIP yet. When I wanted an AZUR... he knows there is a boutique I'm super close too. He was like "I will call every store until I get you one.. if you please wait for me"... I waited... sure enough... he called a week later...He's like "MARIS I got your bag!! I got it from over seas!! No waiting list for you".. .it was funny... but $94... yikes. But then VIP??? hmmmm...
And.. ladies... Priscilla might have to wait... I think I'm buying a Cherry Blossom Pink Retro... I'm gonna decide in the next few days. If I decide to save money and get one of those... Pink DIOR bags are up for sale!

if am gonna get my LV, i'd like to purchase it from the store, this way, i can closely check any flaws/imperfection and i can see it for myself. also, i can choose and get newer stocks but as i was reading thru this thread and seeing other posts, i might consider getting my items on ELUX coz there's no tax which is great!
