Thread: Artsy MM vs. Artsy GM

I went to louis vuitton yesterday to check out the artsy (again). I am now totally sure that I want one of those.

I tried it on with a small lap top and a book and the handle is fine with me.
Now my grand question:

Do i purchase the LV Artsy MM or the GM.
The MM looked big at first, but then when i put it on it kind of "got smaller" since because of the weight of the stuff inside.
So i tried the GM on, it s only 4 cm longer, and 4 cm higher, But im just a bit unsure if its a bit bit on me.
I saw the MM on a woman once and it looked small. But i ve never seen anybody carry the GM.

Now, before i purchase the GM, i want to know if any of you guys have it and if yes, could you please please please put some fotos of it up with you wearing it so that i can get an idea of how it looks on someone else.

when i was in the shop i just couldnt make up my mind if it looked great or just Huge. the Sales person said that it only looks huge but you get used to it and that its fancier in GM.

please help me out guys!

wowww...but that looks amazing on you!! :) I saw the gm today on two women i think. it looked fab! but the MM also looks fab! ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!! i think either way you cant really go wrong. I guess in the end i ll just have to decide in the shop.

hello everyone. Incase anyone remembers i was the one who couldnt decide between Artsy GM and MM. Actually, i ended up buying the Delightful GM. And im very happy with it. The reason why i didnt buy the Artsy was the practicality reason. The MM was too small for me. But what bugged me the most, was that it went right under my armpit. But i do know that when there is weight in side it doesnt go all the way up. I bought the delightful because i wanted something big, but still that it would slouch so that it actually didnt look so bit. and also the Delightful GM was 600 Bucks cheaper. I felt like, since i found them equally beautifull, why spend those extra 600 bucks.
I have only one thing to complain about the Delightful GM. The handle slides down. which is a bit of a pain. so i had to buy a bag stop. (its something you just stick on the handle and voila, the bag doesnt slide off your shoulder anymore.

so far... im very happy with my choice. i would ve chosen that way again. BUT i do have to say. I am disappointed, that a bag maker like LV didnt think of the fact that they shouldnt make their handle so smoothe, that it slips. but i hopw that changes in time, once the handle has been used for quite a while.

The artsy looks gorgeous! is the handle comfy though?

I own artsy Gm and one of my favorite. the artsy is gorgeous. specially, the braids on the handle is my favorite.
but the handle is not really comfy. the bag is already has some weight. if you are planning to or have to carry lots of stuffs, well, its gonna hurt your shoulder.
Now, i am not really using artsy GM, but i cant give up on that bag. because.....its soooo pretty!!!!!

Hi, could you explain to me if it is possible that an original LV Artsy GM is made of soft canvas and inside there is written "Made in Spain" instead of "Made in France" ???

Woah, it really is a big bag! Thank you for the photo though, very good for a realistic size comparison.
