Thread: Louis vuitton idylle - which coulour? and do they get dirty fast?

hey guys, which colour do you think is best? the reddish, the blueish, or the brown?

I went to the LV store and saw the idylle collection and just fell in love with it. they are not as resistent as the LV-Canvas products but they have a protective "cover" that makes them not too easy to get dirty.

Does anyone of you have something from the LV Idylle line? Please let me know your experience and which colour you purchased!

p.s and do you know if LV-romance (idylle) is compfy to carry. That s the bag on the first picture.

yeah me too. i love all of them. :) but i think im really between the greyish and the brown. just not sure if the grey goes with everything ???

thanks everyone! yeah i love the romance too. but also i like the speedy. I guess ill just have to decide. But i think If im already gonna get the artsy MM, which is a similar shape to romance, ill get the speedy.
You can carry the speedy in three different ways. You have a strap that you can shorten so it makes i a shoulder bag, you can make the strap longer, so you can wear it long, or you can take the strap away an just carry it in your hand. And i like the size... just fits the day to day things. and i think for summer it ll be great too!

huiii sorry for getting back soooooooo late. exams at uni! i ended up buying the delightful gm cause i wanted something for uni to carry all my books but to still look like a nice handbag. so that was my choice. i didnt get the artsy because it was just too expensive and i thought it was just too elegant for uni so i ended up with something elegant and practical and not tooooo fancy. i didnt buy any bags from the idylle collection because ive seen them on people in real life and they just dissappear on the person. the speedy kind of squashes and then you really dont see it anymore. i cant explain in words what i mean but for me a bag needs to be adding something to the style. but with the idylle it just kind of didnt add that something. well thats what i thought anyway. totally different with the canvas. they really stand out. thats what i love about them. and they stay the way they are if you take care of the bag.

I have an Idylle Speedy in fusain (brown) and love it all the way! Beautiful, great and absolutely not likely to get dirty. It's great, that it can be carried more ways than one. Simply love it!!

I just got myself the idylle Romance Fusain, love it... the more i look at it, the more in love i am with it. Even all my colleagues and friends say it's gorgeous. It looks much better than in pictures.
I cant really carry Speedy 30, coz i am not the classy type
Romance is perfect for casual use. The fabric is not the delicate type,and it doesnt go out of shape even if you leave it on table just like that. Simply love it

I bought the Ballade MM in fusain. Love the color and texture of the material. The encre is also nice but might get dirty easily. The SA and the LV store said it is coated with teflon making it water and dirt resistant.
